Community Screening Clinic

Upcoming blood draw clinic in Dutchess County

On Wednesday, May 15, 2019, the Columbia Lyme & Tick-Borne Diseases Research Center will host a Lyme Screening Clinic in Hyde Park, NY. If you are between ages 18-75 and have been diagnosed with Lyme disease in the past 5 years, come to the Hudson Valley Health Arts Center (4232 Albany Post Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538) on May 15 between 3:30 PM-8:30 PM or while supplies last for FREE blood tests.

We will test your blood  for Lyme antibodies (C6 Peptide ELISA) and Powassan virus antibodies.  This is part of a research study to improve diagnostic tests for tick-borne diseases. We ask that participants bring documentation of their Lyme diagnosis or treatment (e.g., blood test; treatment notes; photo of rash, if applicable). Please bring copies, as we are not able to scan or copy original documents at the clinic.

Healthy people who have not been treated for Lyme are also welcome to participate.

Please note that we are only able to admit 150 participants for this study. Before coming to the clinic, be sure to check our Facebook page for real-time updates on whether we have reached capacity.

In conjunction with this study, there will be a 3-day educational event right down the street at the Henry A. Wallace Center at the FDR Presidential Library and Home, hosted by the Dutchess County Tick Task Force.

Thank you for helping us in the fight against Lyme Disease!
